How has it been more than 10 years since I've written on this blog!? Time flies for sure - especially when raising children. Since the last blog post we've graduated one from high school, been to multiple countries, and had many ordinary days. Amongst the ordinary, I am constantly reminded of the extraordinary grace of the Lord. In fact, today is Thanksgiving day! What a great day to reflect on the goodness of God and His abundant provision in our lives. Here are some of my favorite verses on thankfulness:
- Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever! 1 Chronicles 16:34
- Oh give thanks to the Lord; call upon his name; make known his deeds among the peoples! 1 Chronicles 16:8
- I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing praises to you among the nations. Psalm 57:9
- Praise the Lord! Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever! Psalm 106:1
- Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1 Thes 5:18
- Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! Psalm 100:4
Let us always, no matter the circumstance, give thanks to the Lord and praise His Holy name for He is always good.
